Spiritual Pathways

I have been talking about “Keeping it Simple”  in my weekend messages.  Life seems to be anything but simple and connecting with God can sometimes seem very complicated.  A couple weeks ago on a Sunday Morning, I introduced the concept of Spiritual Pathways.  Spiritual Pathways are ways of connecting with God.  A few mentioned that we went through the materials quite quickly and they didn't have a chance to fully process it.  Attached is an assesment  that will help quide to which pathways are your best ways of connecting with God. It is adapted from a book John Ortberg and Ruth Haley Barton, An Ordinary Day with Jesus: Participant’s Guide pathways(Barrington, IL: Willow Creek Association, 2001), 67-72.

It's important to note that although we will be naturally stronger in one or two of these pathways, it does not excuse from developing in the other pathways.  It will just be a little bit more difficult and may take more effort.  I hope you will find the assessment helpful for you on your spiritual journey.
