FIRST PRINCIPLES

In the sermon series on Habakkuk called Trusting God in Turbulent Times, I introduced some concepts called first principles.  These principles based on God's Word should serve as anchors to hold us secure in the struggles of life.  I would encourage you to read them over daily or memorize them.

First Principles

God is good.

God is holy.

God is just.

God knows all things.

God is love.

God makes no mistakes.

The Bible is true.

Jesus Christ is the  Son of God.

Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead.

He ascended into heaven.

Someday he will return to the earth.

The Holy Spirit is real.

I am sealed by the Holy Spirit.

God is always with me.

All things work together for my good and God’s glory.

God will complete his work in me.
