Thank you for presentation this morning Nov 11th at the Callander Legion. My father was a Canadian soldier in WW2 in Holland. I’m also a genealogist in the family. My father passed 36 years ago and I wish I had recorded his stories to pass on. He spoke fondly of the families he spent time with in Holland, and could even speak some Dutch when he came home.if only today’s technology was around when he was alive to Beal lento connect to those families. Thank You again.
Thanks Kelly for your encouragement. Thanks as well to your Father for his service. My dad used to love meeting Canadian veterans. He would find out where they served and they would have the greatest conversations. In hindsight I wish we recorded those conversations too. Thanks again for your encouragement.
