Welcome
Check In – How is everyone doing (good things, teaching applied, lessons learned, prayers answered)?
Word
- Are you a rock collector? Is so, what is the best rock you have ever found
- Read: Joshua 4:5-7, Joshua 24:15, 25-28, 1 Samuel 7:12.
- In all these scriptures a rock was placed to remember something God had done. When have you seen his faithful direction in your life?
- Has the been a point when you echoed Joshua’s commitment, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord?” How does this commitment change as your family changes?
- Samuel built an “Ebenezer” or a stone to remind him of God’s help. How are some ways that God has helped you?
- Why is it important to remember? How do we pass down faith to the next generation?
- What do you need to apply from this lesson?
Witness
How can we use our stories to point others to Jesus?
