Welcome
Check In – How is everyone doing (good things, teaching applied, lessons learned, prayers answered)?
Word
- The Bible says the “Heavens declare the glory of God”. What do you appreciate the most about God’s creation?
- Read 2 Peter 1:3-9
- The first virtue that Peter tells us to add on the foundation of faith is goodness. What do you think of when you hear the word goodness?
- What is the difference between doing good and being good?
- We often say, “God is good – all the time. All the Time – God is good”. What does this mean?
- Author, Mark Buchanan states that Peters call to goodness, “is nothing less than an invitation to enter and experience and imitate the very personhood of God…to participate in His divine nature.” How do we do this?
- Read 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. How does God’s goodness transform us? What is the result?
- What is something that you need to apply from this lesson?
