Welcome
Check In – How is everyone doing (good things, teaching applied, lessons learned, prayers answered)?
Word
- What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?
- Read 1 Peter 2:24-25
- What does “living for righteousness” mean to you personally?
- Read 2 Corinthians 5:15. What does it mean to “not live for yourself.”?
- Pastor John mentioned that often people think that a life of faith is a boring or a life of comfort and ease. Why do people sometimes think that?
- Oswald Chambers in his devotional My Utmost For His Highest that “Faith is the heroic effort of life, You fling yourself in reckless confidence on God.” How can we live this way? How would our lives look different if we did?
- How can we identify and overcome obstacles that hinder our pursuit of righteousness?
- What steps do you need to live for righteousness?
Witness
The first four books of the New Testament are called the gospels because they tell the story of Jesus. How can our lives become the fifth gospel to show other people the story of Jesus? Continue to pray and opportunities to share with those on your Connect Card.
