Welcome
Check In – How is everyone doing (good things, teaching applied, lessons learned, prayers answered)?
Word
- Who is the most content person you know?
- Read Philippians 4:10-13
- What does it mean to “rejoice in the Lord greatly” as Paul says in verse 10? Consider what aspects of the Lord bring you joy and gratitude.
- How can we learn to be content in all circumstances, as Paul describes in verses 11-12? Reflect on times when you've been content, even when facing difficulties, and how you were able to maintain that state.
- How does Paul's ability to be content in all circumstances (verse 12) relate to his reliance on the power of Christ (verse 13)? Consider how trusting in Christ can help you overcome challenges.
- In what ways does Paul's example in Philippians 4:10-13 inspire you to be more thankful, joyful, and content in your daily life? Think about how you can apply these principles to your own experiences.
- How does the concept of “God strengthening us” (verse 13) apply to your own struggles and challenges? Reflect on how you've experienced God's strength in the past, and how you can seek it in the present.
