• Have you ever acted in a school play?  If so, what was the name and what part did you portray?
• Read 1 Samuel 17:37-40
• How does the above scripture relate to you when it comes to ‘dressing’ for battle?
• Read 2 Timothy 2:3-7
• Being enlisted in the Roman army required training and discipline.  Comparing life in the Roman army and about being enlisted in the Christian faith, how well do you think you are trained and disciplined for the Christian life?
• Read Ephesians 6:14-17
• Briefly touch on the six pieces of armor and how they relate spiritually.
• What is interesting about the six pieces of ‘armor’?
• Why do we need the armor? (Eph 6:12; 2 Cor10:4; Rom 7:23; 1 Pet2:11)
• What practical application can you take from this lesson?
