News from the Toolbox: Update Jeremy and Tanya Lott – June, 2025

Greetings Friends!
We are getting ready to come home to Canada! And after a four and a half year term, our plans are to be home for one year! But there's a lot to do before we get those passports stamped!
There's are a number of farewells and some last experiences (for Seth) too!
By now our Bonfield house will be empty. We have some work to do to get settled in Canada, but we also need to get our Ukarumpa home ready to rent! We are ready to be home though!…And, that's Seth's friend, not an extra son!
The boys ran, jumped and threw hard on “Sports day”. A Track and Field day that happens in May.
This year was a bit different. Of the two teams in the school, the blue team (Beta) won, but later, our boys celebrated an error that gave “Alpha the win! The school also hosted one last evening of music. Steven plays trumpet in the band, and Seth's class put on a special vocal arrangement that was wonderful!
It was very enjoyable, seeing our boys share their talents and training! The two boys are finishing up exams this week. The parents of the graduating class, also organized a “Blessing Ceremony”. A special evening where parents proclaim a special blessing over their child and pray for them.
Jeremy completed his final jobs before furlough. One of which, a missionary's vehicle, barely made it home without catastrophic failure! The rear differential required a complete rebuild. Tanya also completed her final shift at the Clinic. We also hosted our last Video Sunday School, our weekly bible study (hosted in our home) and Jeremy will complete his last leadership training segment with SIL Global.
We're packing! So let's see…”What do we ship home if we can't return (we have done this before every furlough)” Also. “Jeremy.” “Do you want to bring any tools home with you?” “Not too much, they're heavy!” And…”Can we empty the freezer yet?”

Seth did a co-op at the airstrip, and he got to fly with one of the pilots. The flight included landing on a mountainous airstrip, an 8 degree incline! The pilots here are very excited about Seth's interest in flying!
We've been waiting a long time for this! Caleb and Madison's wedding! What a wonderful couple! We are so excited! And, proud! It's set for the 28th of June; so really, only weeks away! Many of us have been counting the days!

Praise with us:
- Caleb and Madison are getting married in only a few weeks!
- We are thankful for all the Lord has done in and through us in this difficult, but rewarding term in Papua New Guinea.
- Steven and Seth are finishing well!
- Jeremy and Tanya finished all the projects they were responsible for.
- For all the Lord is doing here in Papua New Guinea!
Pray with us:
- Pray for our family as we wrap things up here before furlough and get settled in Canada.
- Pray for Seth as he says good bye to his childhood home, school and friends.
- Pray can get renters in our Ukaurmpa house.
- Pray for stamina for all the “lasts” and work involved as we head home.
- Pray for the Shop and the Clinic who will feel our absence.
Thank you for your prayer, gifts and encouragement,
Jeremy, Tanya, Seth and Steven
