• Read 2 Peter 1:3-9
• Pastor John said on Sunday, “God does two great miracles in our life.  The first is Salvation: God makes spiritually dead people alive in Christ – this happens in a moment. The second is Sanctification: God makes godless people godly – this takes a lifetime to accomplish.”  What do you think of this?
• What do you think of when you hear about godliness?
• How are perseverance and godliness connected?
• Read 1 Peter 3:15
• How do we set apart Christ as Lord? 
• Peter says that when we set apart Christ as Lord., people will ask about the hope we have.  Why should hope be evident in the follower of Christ?
• According to this scripture, how are we supposed to share the message of Jesus?
