Welcome

Check In – How is everyone doing (good things, teaching applied, lessons learned, prayers answered)?

Word

  • What is your experience with farming?  Were you raised on a farm or had relatives that lived on a farm?
  • Read: Luke 2:4-16
  • What are some of the adverse conditions that Jesus was born and raised in?  Why would God desire and allow this to happen?
  • Why is it important that Jesus be a relatable, sympathetic, and approachable Saviour?  How has Jesus been that in your life?
  • Read Hebrews 4:14-16
  • What does it mean that we can “boldly approach the throne of grace”?
  • How has God supplied “grace to you in your time of need”?
  • What is something that you need to apply from this lesson?

Witness

How can we bring the gospel to people this Christmas season?

Prayer

Pray that God will help you apply this lesson.  Pray for any other requests you have.
